There is so much to see & do in the
Williamsburg area. There have been a several changes these past years

Jamestown
is a must see when visiting Williamsburg. Both the Jamestown Settlement
and Historic Jamestowne are worth the visit!
Busch Gardens is better than ever. For you roller coaster fans
there are some fairly new rides if you have not been here in a few
years. Apollo’s Chariot, Applengeist, DarKastle and the newest Griffon, are
guaranteed to give you a thrill. The gardens and shows are really

New Town is thriving!
Yes, we finally have a new movie theatre! See all the latest films
without your shoes sticking to the floor. The area features new
restaurants & shops. A favorite is Chee Burger Chee Burger, a step back
to the 50’s.
Colonial
Williamsburg is of course the place to visit. With more exhibits and
more activities, you can keep yourself busy for days. It is a wonderful

Bird watching is fast becoming a very popular activity and hobby.
With over 450 species residing in Virginia, you are certain to see a
bird that will bring delight. The Chickadee, Cardinal, Nuthatch, Blue
Bird, Downy Woodpecker, Wren, Wood Thrush, Robin, Finch, Blue Jay,
Flicker & Doves are a few of the birds that reside at Liberty Rose.
Yorktown is a short drive from Colonial Williamsburg along the
York river. Brush up on your early American/British history and see the
site where Cornwallis surrendered to Washington bringing to end the
Revolutionary War. Explore the battlefields or stroll along the new

Restaurants are plentiful in Williamsburg. A few new ones are The
Fat Canary, Blue Talon Bistro, Maurizio’s, A Carrol’s, Food for Thought. Of
course the old favorites are still around, The Trellis, Grill Room at
Ford’s Colony, King’s Arm, Barrett’s, Casa Maya, Cold Stone and Peirce‘s
BBQ . The best place for breakfast is still Liberty Rose!
Shopping continues to be Sandi’s favorite form of exercise. A few

Charlie’s Antiques & Garden supplies.
